Over the last week, we have gained two new clients in two completely different industries! A very exciting part of our work is the learning curve involved when starting a relationship with a new client. Marketing strategy and the design that follows from that strategy can't come from a template - a connection is made that really drives a unique experience for us and our clients!
With that said, we will be learning some very interesting things indeed from our new client Ontario Championship Wrestling! We'll be assisting this independent wrestling association leverage their current loyal fan base to grow to the next level and find a permanent home for events. Also, as part of the larger marketing plan, we will develop and promote a corporate sponsorship program so that the local Cogeco Community TV coverage can expand to National Cable coverage. The current buzz in the WWE is all about successful wrestlers coming from "independent" associations. So this is the right place and the right time for success! Many thanks to David Pinkerton and Justin Cousineau for including our team in their vision for the future!
Our new client Forever Young Chiropractic has been practicing in Kingston since July 2010. They are located in the King's Town Chiropractic Centre on Princess Street at the corner of Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd. Their mission is to have every man, woman and child in their service area checked for spinal misalignments, or "subluxations"(see, I am learning already!) Our team will help them achieve this mission by coordinating and implementing a marketing plan and leveraging community outreach opportunities to educate the public on the benefits of chiropractic care, even for health issues that you think are not related to your spine! Dr. Jason Young and Dr. Rebecca Huddleston are family chiropractors who have a passion for helping their patients feel "Forever Young" and we are very happy to help them share that passion with the community!

What a busy time for our team! In the past two weeks, two of our clients launched their businesses with successful events. Interview First owner Julia Blackstock hosted guests at the Kingston Brew Pub on October 13th to explain the nature of her business, which is so much more than career counseling. She does a different twist on interviewing that really gets people on track to finding work that they love. She "interviewed" Jennine in front of the crowd and people took notice. She just has this knack for getting a person to volunteer lots of information that generally doesn't show up on your traditional resume! We assisted in her launch by developing her brand identity, website, and helping plan the format for her launch. Good luck Julia!
On the other side of town, at Community Living on Princess Street, our client MusicMates Inc. held an Open House registration fair on October 15th, which was a huge success! MusicMates offers music classes for kids and adults who need help developing social skills. Shera Lumsden, Director of the program, has been offering these classes for two years and is now looking to double enrollment for her next session, which begins January 2012. The Open House featured sing-alongs on a "music mat" where kids and their families jammed together with different instruments. Jennine's kids Laura and Cade were on hand with Mom for the festivities! We've created a new site for MusicMates, featuring an online registration tool, and produced the collateral material for the Open House. Best wishes for a fantastic winter session!
